Summary: | Portland cement is the typical binder in concrete, a widely used building material. This project attempts to develop concrete with lime powder will be completed. For various percentage replacements of cement by using lime powder in the creation of concrete is the goal of this work, which takes into account environmental aspects of cement manufacture, particularly in regards to CO2 emissions and energy usage. Concrete of the M30 grade is selected for analysis. Lime of 5%, 10%, and 15% replaces cement. The concrete mix composition shall follow IS10262-2019 guidelines. In order to establish the best value, the features are evaluated, including the workability and fresh concrete’s characteristics like slump and compaction factor as well as the strength attributes of hardened concrete, including compression strength. |
