Description
Summary:The current era of digitalization is witnessing the rapid evolution of information technology. One of these advancements is related to data digitization in document management. Document digitization enhances data storage efficiency, particularly in terms of search capabilities, security, accessibility, and overall management. The Si-MADODI system is designed for the specific purpose of document management, particularly within the context of faculty research administration. Through this system, both users and administrators can efficiently access documents and expedite administrative processes. The system was developed using the PHP programming language and MySQL, employing black box testing methods, and utilizing the waterfall system development model. During the system development, an evaluation was conducted through a Likert-scale questionnaire, achieving a score of 77%, signifying strong agreement. Additionally, hypotheses were formulated to gauge and address user satisfaction with the system using variables such as system development, system usability, and user satisfaction, which yielded values of X to Y 0.368, Y to Z 0.196, and X to Z 0.480. Based on the obtained results, users strongly agree and are satisfied with the system, which also contributes to faster and more efficient administrative tasks.
