Summary:This study aims to develop a web-based attendance information system for TPQ An-Nuur Bangil, which still uses manual methods in managing attendance data. The waterfall method and data collection methods by means of observation and interviews were used to design the system. The system was developed to meet the mandatory requirement of issuing madin diplomas, which led to an increased number of students registering for TPQ An-Nuur. The system’s effectiveness in managing attendance data was demonstrated by the reduction in errors and the time required for manual data entry. The implication of this study is that the web-based attendance information system can help TPQ An-Nuur Bangil to manage absenteeism more efficiently and effectively.
