Summary:The Performance Management Program (PGD) emerged as an emergency response during the COVID-19 pandemic and represents a disruptive approach in the Brazilian federal public administration, including the formalization of telework and the improvement of results management. An integrative literature review was conducted, with a systematic search for articles in the Scopus, Google Scholar, and Scielo databases, covering the period from 2018 to 2023. The analysis concluded that the PGD has highlighted the need for flexibility and adaptability of public servants in the face of technological and organizational changes and has the potential to improve productivity and quality of life of the servants, despite initial challenges in implementation.
