Summary:In order to have a real‐world experience in the “METAVERSE”, an ultra‐high PPI device is urgently needed. In this paper, we proposed a 2117‐PPI Fast LCD Device with LTPO and Color Filter On Array (COA) technologies. We used real RGB with higher physical resolution instead of Sub Pixel Rendering (SPR) technology. We adopted the “Smart BM” technology to reduce the Screen Door Effect and the Electric Field Enhancement (EFE) technology to enhance the LC efficiency. We have developed the Planarization (PLN) Hole Filling (PHF) technology which can both increase LC efficiency and reduce the dark state light leakage. At the same time, we also used the “Smart BM” technology to improve CR.
