Summary:The study was conducted as a randomized, double-blind cross-over clinical trial study design. 20 eligible participants underwent two cross-over phases based on specific criteria. Furthermore, no significant variations were observed in mucositis severity and patients' pain response across different study days during the control and intervention phases (P > 0.05). [...]this study aims to provide a more comprehensive understanding of the potential benefits of vitamins E and A to modulate oral mucositis and chemotherapy induced pain. 2. MATERIALS AND METHODS Study Design A randomized, double-blind, placebo controlled crossover clinical trial was conducted in the Iran Mehr hospital, affliated to the Birjand University of Medical Science, Birjand, Iran, from February 2022 to July 2022, to evaluate the effectiveness of vitamins E and A on the severity of oral mucositis caused by chemotherapy.
