Summary:Conclusions: Poor access to dental care services in areas affected by the earthquake in Kermanshah, Iran adversely affected the PUFA and DMFT scores of 7-12-year-old children. The sample size was calculated to be 297 (a minimum of 99 from each city) considering α=0.05, and standard deviation of 0.25, to calculate the DMFT score with an accuracy of 0.05 using the confidence intervals for one mean feature of SPSS 25. [...]a total of 300 children were enrolled as the test group. Data distribution was not normal for DMFT, PUFA, access to dental care services, frequency of toothbrushing, frequency of dental flossing, and level of education of parents (P=0.000). [...]according to the Chi-square test, the level of education of parents had a significant correlation with the access to dental care services (P=0.011).
