Description
Summary:The utilization of electrical energy in the Radial Distribution System (RDS) is increasing day by day due to various industrial, commercial, and residential loads. The increasing load demand shows negative impact in terms of degrades the voltage profile, voltage stability and increase the power loss of RDS. Negative impacts are counteracted by placement of solar and wind DGs connected to DS in an optimal way. In this article an efficient technique is used for proper allocation of DGs by using Particle swarm optimization and differential evolution (PSODE). Different cases are considered for the analysis. Further, the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm was tested by IEEE 85 bus system, and the simulated results are compared with other Metaheuristic algorithms.
