This paper aims to evaluate the Turkish Health Care Quality and Accreditation Institute (TUSKA), which a national institute and carry out accreditation activities in health services, used to the accreditation survey program as an external evaluation tool.[LANGUAGE= "Turkish"] Sağlık hizmetlerinde iyileştirmeler için kalite ölçümüne odaklanmak çok önemlidir. Ayrıca kalite değerlendirmelerinde geçerli bir model, yönetişimi sağlamak ve kalite iyileştirme açısından gereklidir. Bununla birlikte artan ve değişen küresel ve ulusal sağlık öncelikleri hem iyileştirme hem de ölçüm mekanizmalarının sağlık sistemleri üzerindeki olumlu etkilerinde önemli bir rol oynamaktadır. Bu çalışmada, sağlık hizmetlerinde akreditasyon faaliyetlerini yürüten ve ulusal bir kurum olan Türkiye Sağlık Hizmetleri Kalite ve Akreditasyon Enstitüsü’nün (TÜSKA) kullandığı akreditasyon denetim programının, bir dış değerlendirme aracı olarak değerlendirilmesi amaçlanmıştır.
