Summary: | A novel and simple ecofriendly method was described for preparation of carbon active (AC) and AC/ZnO nanocomposite from data (date cores) extract by vaccum furance at 700 °C for adsorption of toxic. The method succeeded to preparation of active carbon (CA) because the renewable and inexpensive by ecofriendly method. Activated carbon were characterization by X-ray diffraction analysis, filed emission scanning electron microscopy analysis FE-SEM, and fourier transform infrared spectrum for structure properties FTIR. XRD measurements explained the crystalline size (90) nm with (hexagonal) structure (hematite) for (AC) NPs using (date cores) extract. FE-SEM showed the particle size of (AC) NPs using (date cores) extract were (26 to 202 nm) nm, respectively. Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM) analysis determined at the average grain size the activated carbon/ZnO for the (date cores) extract value from (45) nm. The absorption peak strong of the activated carbon/ZnO nanocomposite is 895 cm−1 by FTIR spectrum. |
