Description
Summary:The influence of the geometrical parameters of truncated gold nanocones on the sensitivity of plasmon resonance systems based on them has been studied. The dependence of the bulk refractive index sensitivity on the height, side face inclination angle, and base diameter of the nanocone was studied by the finite-difference time domain method. The parameters corresponding to the highest sensitivity of biosensors based on these particles were identified, and ways to increase it were proposed.
