Description
Summary:The paper considers the steady-state longitudinal resonant gas oscillations in a closed tube with a volumetric cylindrical heat source located coaxially with the tube. At one end of the tube there is a piston oscillating according to the harmonic law, the other end is closed with a flat lid. It is shown that with an increase in the value of the heat source, an increase in the resonant frequency is observed. With an inhomogeneous temperature distribution along the radius, the maximum amplitude of the axial component of the gas velocity in the core of the flow is located on the axis of the tube. In the range of values of the heat source from 0 to 30 kW/m , the amplitude of gas pressure oscillations and the resonant frequency increase according to a law close to linear. An increase in the value of the heat source results in an increase in the amplitude of the gas oscillations.
