Description
Summary:This study aims to simulate the random wave transformation in shallow water, including the nonlinear effect and the sandbars interaction, using the SWASH model. By simulating the propagation of monochromatic and random waves on sandbars, it reproduces the Beji and Battjes experiments and confirms the result of Sierra on the wave transformation process. In place of the dissipating super-harmonic wave, secondary harmonic waves were formed.
