Summary: | This article addresses the issues in the air transport system of semi-suspended MX-1.8 and MX-2.4 cotton pickers with a vertical spindle. Given that semi-suspended machines currently pick cotton crops with 60 cm row spacing, the goal is to eliminate the shortcomings of these machines and optimize the technological parameters of this machine. The power required for fan operation is calculated, taking into account the additional aerodynamic resistance caused by the complexity of the air transport system design. The results of the calculations are presented in the form of a histogram. |
