Cavitation-Erosion Wear of Aminoplast in Simulated Environments of Sugar Production

The indicators of cavitation-erosion resistance of reactive plastic polymer materials, namely aminoplasts of KFA-1, KFA-2, and KMFA-3 grades in neutral, acidic, and alkaline environments were analyzed. The obtained results were considered from the standpoint of the physicochemical fracture mechanics...

Description
Summary:The indicators of cavitation-erosion resistance of reactive plastic polymer materials, namely aminoplasts of KFA-1, KFA-2, and KMFA-3 grades in neutral, acidic, and alkaline environments were analyzed. The obtained results were considered from the standpoint of the physicochemical fracture mechanics of polymers, taking into account the specific features of the cavitation loading, the type of environment, and possible mechanisms of their fracture.
