Summary: | This study aims to accumulate the types of coping strategies used by caregivers by using a bibliometric approach. Data for the analysis were retrieved from the widely used Scopus and Web of Science databases, known for their comprehensive coverage of social sciences and humanities literature. Following the PRISMA guidelines, a total of 30 documents relevant to the theme  were included in the study. These articles were then carefully examined and reviewed in depth by the authors. The analysis of the published literature encompassed various coping themes employed by caregivers, such as problem-oriented strategy, emotion-oriented strategy, religious coping strategy, adaptive coping strategies, maladaptive coping strategy, and other coping strategies. A comprehensive and detailed analysis was conducted to explore the distinct coping strategies employed by caregivers in the context of caring for a child with a disability. |
