Description
Summary:The article is devoted to the study of the formation of strip thickness and changes in cold rolling parameters at the nonstationary stages of the process of filling-acceleration and braking-release of the 1400 CDS mill of PJSC NLMK. The results of a statistical analysis of the influence of the main rolling parameters and the thickness of hot-rolled steel on the change in the thickness of cold-rolled strips at the end sections are presented. The presence and ranges of changes in the time delay in the influence of rolling force, speed and specific tension of the strip on the thickness behind the 4th stand of the 1400 mill were established.
