Summary: | Based on the results of PISA (The Program For International Student Assessment) released by the OECD (Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development) in 2018, Indonesia’s numeracy literacy level is ranked 74 out of 79 countries. This shows that Indonesia’s numeracy literacy level is still very low compared to other countries. Games are an alternative medium in various learning that allows for active participation of students in learning. Monopoly selection based on a wide variety of subjects has proven its effectiveness. The benefit of this research is to assist educators in conducting Mathematics learning anywhere and anytime in a more enjoyable way. This game is built from various questions related to the numeracy test in Minimum Competency Assessment at junior high school level. The development of this game using English is to improve students’ English skills. This research aims to determine the process and output of developing the Numeracy Monopoly Game for Middle School Level, which is based on the Plomp Model with 5 phases. The result of the development is 10 statement cards on community chest and opportunity or chance card. There are 27 questions with the image of 2D and 3D objects in the area. For validation results in terms of content, constructs, and language, it was obtained an average score of 70% with valid categories. |
