Description
Summary:Methods: We performed a secondary analysis of baseline data from a randomized controlled trial comparing two exercise-based physiotherapist-led interventions for FAI syndrome. The International Hip Outcome Tool-33 (iHOT-33) subscales were used to assess self-reported hip burden (quality of life, symptoms, emotional concerns, sports-related concerns, and job-related concerns). Researchers and clinicians need to collaborate with patients to develop treatment strategies for FAI syndrome that not only focus on improving physical aspects (muscle strength, range of motion, movement quality) but also enable exercise participation and improve the performance of activities of daily living.
