Magnetic Properties of Single Crystalline Eu2Ga3Ir

We succeeded in growing single crystals of Eu2Ga3Ir by the Bridgman method using a sealed Mo crucible, and measured the electrical resistivity, specific heat, magnetic susceptibility, magnetization, Mössbauer spectrum, and electrical resistivity under pressure, revealing a Eu2+-antiferromagnetic sta...

Description
Summary:We succeeded in growing single crystals of Eu2Ga3Ir by the Bridgman method using a sealed Mo crucible, and measured the electrical resistivity, specific heat, magnetic susceptibility, magnetization, Mössbauer spectrum, and electrical resistivity under pressure, revealing a Eu2+-antiferromagnetic state with a Néel temperature TN = 18 K.
