Summary: | Fetuin-A is a conjugated protein that is found in the bloodstream and has been suggested to have potential associations with insulin resistance (IR) and polycystic ovarian syndrome. The objective of our investigation was to assess the levels of Fetuin-A and evaluate its potential utility as a biomarker in individuals diagnosed with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), both with and without infertility. This study aims to investigate the levels of Fetuin-A, fasting blood sugar (FBS), insulin resistance (IR), and insulin (I) in females diagnosed with polycystic ovarian syndrome with infertility, as well as those without infertility, and compare these findings with a control group of women. This study conclude forty women as control, sixty women who have PCOS and fifty women have PCOS also infertility. As a result we found that concentration of fetuin-A is significantly elevated in PCOS more than infertile PCOS and control, also infertile PCOS women have high significant level of fetuin-A when compared to control. In addition insulin, insulin resistance and glucose show high level in infertile PCOS and PCOS only when compared to control group. |
