Summary: | The challenges of energy shortages and increasingly stringent emission regulations make the adoption of hybrid propulsion systems an important direction for the future advancement of the marine industry. The energy management system driving the hybrid propulsion system has been intensively researched and developed by scholars, However, the EMS hardware platform for how to realize the EMS has not been discussed in detail. This research involves a real-time application hardware development platform for EMS of marine hybrid propulsion system, clarifies the topology and implementation architecture of energy management system, and summarizes its important components. The energy management system hardware platform is constructed with the aid of NI CompactRIO controller. The critical parameters of the marine hybrid power equipment were connected with the NI boards to create an energy management strategy that meets the verification. The practicality and validity of the proposed hardware platform were evaluated using a test platform with test conditions. The results verified that the developed hardware platform is feasible. |
