Summary: | In a construction project, many obstacles influence the project’s time, cost, and quality performance. Formwork is one of the work items that use the most resources (resources). One example is the use of tools such as tower cranes, the use of wasteful materials, and most are labors. Not to mention if by using a conventional system, there are lots of reworks or repairs work that we do if the results are not satisfactory even though the concrete and concrete rebar are very good. In its development, PT. PP (Persero) Tbk. has tried to use several formwork systems that change along with technological developments and the times. One of them is the use of semi-system formwork and Aluminum formwork (Aluminum Formwork/Alform). This study will implement lean principles on the comparison between Aluminum Formwork / Alform and the semi-system method. This study aimed to compare the construction method of Alform Formwork with semi-system formwork on High Rise Building projects in terms of costs and their impact concerning efforts to reduce waste cost according to the lean principle. The expected output is a comparison of the costs of each construction method and the reduction of waste to work in the field. Where from the results of this study, it was found that Alform formwork has a smaller waste cost than semi-systems formwork. |
