Description
Summary:The Atıf’s Lycian Salamander, Lyciasalamandra atifi is recorded from Kuz Cave (Sütçüler District, Isparta Province), in the Mediterranean Region of Türkiye. This record is the first case showing the locality of this endemic salamander species except from Antalya Province. The morphometric characters and color-pattern features of the specimens were compared with specimens from the known Turkish localities according to the literature. We observed that the specimens of the Kuz Cave population were similar in some characters to the specimens of L. a. veithi reported in the literature.
