Description
Summary:Reviews the book, Die tiefenpsychologischen Schulen von den Anfängen bis zur Gegenwart: Entwicklung, Probleme, Krisen by Dieter Wyss (1962). The first half of this book is devoted to depth psychological theories, voted with a natural science orientation, which are subdivided into Freud, the schools of Freud, and the neo-psychoanalytic schools. The latter contains a analytic more careful selection than one usually finds in American textbooks. This book is clearly meant for the professional scholar and therapist. It would keep anyone busy for years, even if he had no difficulty with the German language. (PsycINFO Database Record (c) 2016 APA, all rights reserved)
