Description
Summary:Reviews 10 studies (1912-1914) on RT. The speed of the nervous system, as proved by one study, is 10 m/sec. However, the study did not receive much support. Ten possible sources of error are discussed, which conclude that in the case of sensation, the cortical and the psychic processes are not synchronous. There is no evidence of increase of RT with decrease of stimulus duration. Literature, however, confirms Wundt's law, that RT decreases with increase in stimulus intensity.
