Description
Summary:The Internet offers a new method of delivering psychological interventions to consumers. Our understanding of how these interventions can be used for the prevention, treatment, and relapse prevention of psychological disorders is in its infancy. The features that are available for use with Internet-delivered interventions are described and exemplified with examples from interventions for body image dissatisfaction and eating disorders. Future evolution of these interventions is also discussed. (PsycINFO Database Record (c) 2016 APA, all rights reserved) (Source: journal abstract)
