Summary:It is shown that pretreatment of wheat seeds with chlorocholine chloride reduces inhibition of photosystem 2 activity in the first leaves of 10-day-old wheat variety Moskovskaya 35 seedlings caused by heating at 39–41°C for 5–20 min and improves its poststress recovery, probably due to activation of antioxidant enzymes and increase in the level of low molecular weight antioxidants.
