Summary: | The fuel-energy balance of a metallurgical combine is constructed on the basis of an accounting system that extends from receipt of the raw materials to manufacture of the finished product. Coke and coal chemicals production and steelmaking at the combine are optimized with respect to environmental and energy criteria, and geographic information technologies are used to determine the effects of harmful emissions from the combine on the health of the local population. |
