Summary: | Solli discusses the Archaeological Landscape Analysis by Visual Methods (ALAV). The ALAV method was introduced by Gansum, Jerpasen and Keller in 1997 and before that sketched in Keller (1993) who was inspired by landscape architecture. The ALAV method has basically been applied in Norwegian master's theses and in articles springing from mainly unpublished master's theses. Jerpasen suggests that the ALAV method has had an impact on Nordic archaeological landscape research. |
