Summary: | A resource allocation algorithm with dynamic bit control to achieve the greatest fairness for all users and minimize transmission power over orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) systems is presented under perfect channel-state information. Two kinds of system scenarios, bandwidth abundance and shortage, are scrutinized. Simulation results confirm that the proposed algorithm can achieve good fairness and minimize transmission power simultaneously under a BER constraint. |
