Summary:The effect of heat-and thermomechanical treatments on the structure, characteristics of martensitic transformation, and functional properties of ternary Ti-Ni-Nb alloys has been investigated. The parameters of martensitic transformations whose realization makes it possible to recommend the alloys as promising materials for technologically high-efficient thermomechanical joints have been determined. The temperature-deformation conditions have been revealed under which optimum characteristics of shape recovery and force characteristics are realized in the alloys.[PUBLICATION ABSTRACT]
