Description
Summary:By means of a solid-phase synthesis two types of microwave dielectric materials are obtained as follows: Ba^sub 1-x^Sr^sub x^(Zn^sub 1/3^Ta^sub 2/3^)^sub 0.94^Ti^sub 0.06^O^sub 3^, where x = 0.20, 0.25, 0.30, 0.35 and 0.40 at sintering temperature T^sub S^ = 1350, 1400 and 1450 ^sup ^C; Ba(Zn^sub 1/3^Nb^sub 2/3^)^sub 1-x^Zr^sub x^O^sub 3^, where x = 0.04, 0.06, 0.08 and 0.10 at T^sub S^ = 1300, 1350, and 1400 ^sup ^C. The microwave characteristics of the materials are investigated at f = 10 GHz. The composition Ba(Zn^sub 1/3^Nb^sub 2/3^)^sub 1-x^Zr^sub x^O^sub 3^ demonstrates ε^sub r^ = 38, Q = 6100 and τ^sub f^ = +15 ppm ^sup ^C^sup -1^ and the composition Ba^sub 0.80^Sr^sub 0.20^- (Zn^sub 1/3^Ta^sub 2/3^)^sub 0.94^Ti^sub 0.06^O^sub 3^ has ε^sub r^ = 42, Q = 8200 and τ^sub f^ = -13 ppm ^sup ^C^sup -1^. The composition Ba^sub 0.75^Sr^sub 0.25^(Zn^sub 1/3^Ta^sub 2/3^)^sub 0.94^Ti^sub 0.06^O^sub 3^ has ε^sub r^ = 40, Q = 6500 and low τ^sub f^ = -13 ^sup ^C^sup -1^ ppm. This composition could be used successfully for realisation of dielectric microwave resonators for the satellite television.[PUBLICATION ABSTRACT]
