Description
Summary:We present a methodology for the efficient design of transmission line discontinuities utilizing the Finite-Difference Time-Domain embedded within an optimization framework. The specially developed parts of a program system including preprocessor-, solver-, and postprocessor routines are described. The entire program system was used for the multi-dimensional optimization of several wave guide discontinuities.
