Summary: | The results of an investigation of the thermal conductivity of DE-24 isostatic graphite in the temperature range 3000–3300 K are presented. The temperature dependences of the thermal conductivity are determined by the two hollow cylinders method in which it is assumed that the properties of the material and the resistivity are constant. Exact values of the thermal conductivity are obtained using these relations, the numerical solution of the nonlinear stationary heat-conduction equation and the results of measurements of the temperature on the inner surface of one of the cylinders. |
