Summary:Aspects that will be useful to practitioners of continuing nursing education include: ( 1 ) clear description of the development of norm and criterion-referenced measures, (2) criteria for selection of commercially available measures, (3) availability of extant measurement tools, and (4) an extensive bibliography for in-depdi exploration of topics of interest to the reader. 1 highly recommend this work for all CNE practitioners. Since we wrestle daily with issues of measurement related to die effectiveness of educational activities and nursing practice, having available a reference specific to our discipline will enhance our practice.
