Summary: | The guest editors of this special issue, Physical Activity and Youth Sports: Social and Moral issues, of Peace and Conflict: Journal of Peace Psychology introduce the articles that follow. They note that although the articles do not reflect every empirical and conceptual issue present in understanding the links between youth sports, physical activity, and prosocial development, they believe that together they treat many of the exciting empirical and theoretical issues at the forefront of current scholarly concern. It is suggested that the collective work in this journal will be a useful addition to the growing literature on moral and social development.
