A Plethora of Clefts Now that the worry has subsided, the tears have dried, and the guilt has been sufficiently suppressed, I'm able to look at Max's developmental mishap through scientist-colored glasses. Rather, the mutated genes encode generic developmental processes that help build a variety of structures, induding our lungs, teeth, hair and limbs, along with the palate. |
