Summary: | The main goal of this paper is to analyze and modeling transformerless PV inverter systems with respect to the leakage current phenomenon that can damage the solar panels and pose safety problems. New topologies and control strategies that will minimize the leakage current and exhibit a high efficiency will be investigated . The simulation of the power system is first realized using PSIM. In a second step, the simulation of the power system is realized using the MATLAB/Simulink. Both simulation models are tested and selective simulation results are provided for a comparative study.
