Summary: | An experimental investigation of the transient multipath phenomenon is undertaken by measuring the field scattered by a cylinder above a perfectly conducting sinusoidal surface. Measurements are made directly in the time domain using the reflectivity-arch range at Michigan State University. A detailed description of the measurement system is given and the calibration technique is outlined. Comparison with theory provides mutual validation of theory and experiment. |
