A Galerkin Procedure for Estimating the Flux for Two-Point Boundary Value Problems
A method for obtaining very accurate approximations of the flux values at particular points of the domain for the two-point boundary value problem is analyzed. The method is based on the use of a Galerkin solution of the problem. The error in the flux is reduced from O(hr) to O(h2r).
