Summary:Increasing violence, it's magnitude and destructive effects on those more disadvantaged and vulnerable, challenged us to investigate them. We considered that the absence of social support (family, school, state) increased the possibilities of violence in adolescents. We described and characterized, violence related conducts in adolescents, and developed intervention strategies promoting prevention We worked with a sample of adolescents both attending schools and those who dropped out, in Córdoba city (Argentina) city gathering data with an anonymous survey processed by Epi-Info. Likewise, participative strategies were used -group discussions- to promote group productions on the significance of violence. [PUBLICATION ABSTRACT]
