Description
Summary:Within the Transbaikalian region, a specific type of tectonic structures formed under extension conditions was identified. According to the features of formation, these structures correspond to the metamorphic core complexes of the Cordilleran type [14] and occur in the morphological structure of the region as linear uplifts of northeast strike and basins comple mentary to them filled with late volcanicsedimentary strata. These structures were identified based on syn thesis of data obtained as a result of comprehensive studies (petrological, isotopegeochemical, geochro nological, structuralkinematic, and partially geo physical) of metamorphic and igneous complexes.
