A study of the structure and properties of high-strength bainite-carbide cast iron with globular graphite

The structure and mechanical properties of two high-strength bainitic cast irons with carbon equivalent close to the eutectic one are studied. Additional alloying of one of the metals with chromium is used to obtain a bainite-carbide structure. The effect of the parameters of bainitic hardening on t...

Description
Summary:The structure and mechanical properties of two high-strength bainitic cast irons with carbon equivalent close to the eutectic one are studied. Additional alloying of one of the metals with chromium is used to obtain a bainite-carbide structure. The effect of the parameters of bainitic hardening on the hardness, impact toughness, and wear resistance of the metals is studied.
