Summary: | In this letter, a new configuration consisting of parallel coupled lines and nonuniform transmission lines is used to study band‐pass filters. Using a combination of the wavy‐edge coupled‐lines and ring resonators of the harmonic pass‐band of the parallel‐coupled line filter is rejected more effectively. A synthesis method is presented for Chebyshev Type II band‐pass filters in the microwave frequency range. To validate the proposed methodology, measured, and simulation, Chebyshev Type II band‐pass filters were implemented to validate this new configuration correct by measuring. © 2011 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
