[...]this lack of global health awareness in postgraduate curricula is addressed--eg, by development of a small number of core competencies common across the curricula--the UK will fail to deliver health professionals who are trained to deal with the global influences on health in an interdependent world,3 to be fully prepared to form global health partnerships,4 or to meet the UK's increasingly diverse future health challenges.
