Summary:For Radziwill, a representative national structure to celebrate labour must be made by skilled labourers and craftsmen. There seems to have been no place in his conception for industrial production and the urban working class. Within his utopian perspective, the craftsmen and the cathedral were Radziwill's symbols of a new communal spirit, opposed to the corrupting, corrosive inroads of modern capitalist materialism.
