Summary: | Poll books are comprehensive lists of the voting behaviour of identifiable individuals from a defined area at an election contest. The list of contemporaneous printed parliamentary poll books follows the format of John Sims' "Handlist", being arranged by elections for constituencies within countries. This supplement enumerates some 172 items, with a further 14 consigned to an appendix of items which are known from bibliographies or correspondence but which have not been examined. |
