In hematopoietic cells, inhibition of TET2 and histone demethylases leads to epigenetic alterations and accumulation of hematopoietic precursors. In the central nervous system, inhibition of collagen and prolyl hydroxylases lead to altered microenvironment and defective angiogenesis.
