Description
Summary:SB, sphenoid bone; CS, cavernous sinus; Du, dural invasion; TB, temporal bone; IAC, internal auditory canal; OW, orbital wall; GR, general radiotherapy; LR, local radiotherapy; C/T, chemotherapy; R/T, radiotherapy; m, month; y, year; N, no; Y, yes; n.d., not determined. 1 Introduction Primary non-Hodgkin's lymphoma of the bone (PLB) is rare, accounting for 1-2% of all malignant lymphomas. No other systemic manifestations of the disease were found through CT examinations of the chest, abdomen and pelvis and a bone marrow aspiration. [...]the final diagnosis was primary non-Hodgkin's lymphoma of the skull base. The primary purpose of the operation was to make the pathologic diagnosis. [...]when the lesion was found to have a plentiful blood supply during the operation, we immediately stopped further excision.
